Miji Releases Three Laser-Screen-less TVs: DuerOS with Voice Wake-Up

On July 25, Xiaomi, a domestic projector manufacturer, held an event in Beijing to unveil its latest laser screenless TV models: T1, A1 Pro, and A1. The T1 model can project a massive 120-inch display and is priced at 79,999 yuan. Meanwhile, the A1 Pro and A1 can project 100-inch screens, priced at 29,999 yuan and 22,999 yuan respectively. Notably, all three new products come equipped with Baidu's DuerOS, enabling users to control the TV using voice commands. During the press conference, Bai Jingdu, general manager of Xiaomi’s projector division, emphasized that smart homes represent one of the most critical applications of conversational artificial intelligence systems. He expressed hope that DuerOS would help create a highly reliable, screenless TV experience for consumers. Bai highlighted the three core elements of voice activation—listening, understanding, and fulfilling user requests—and noted that Baidu’s extensive data, advanced AI technologies, and rich content libraries enable seamless interactions between users and their devices. According to reports, DuerOS-powered screenless TVs allow users to search for and play movies or music via voice commands, manage system settings, switch between different interfaces, and answer general knowledge queries. They can also identify actors in shows and provide real-time information from encyclopedias. Gong Jing, head of Baidu’s distinctive department, delivered a speech during the event, underscoring the growing importance of integrating AI into everyday life. This launch marks another milestone for DuerOS following its recent collaborations with several notable brands like Harman, Haier, TCL, Lenovo, HTC, and Xiaoyu. These partnerships aim to expand the reach of DuerOS across multiple ecosystems, including smart homes, wearable tech, and automotive sectors. Industry experts believe that while established voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant dominate overseas markets, there remains a significant opportunity for Chinese firms to capitalize on this emerging field. By leveraging its technological prowess, Baidu aims to develop a uniquely Chinese version of these global leaders, fostering innovation within the country’s burgeoning smart home ecosystem. This move reflects Baidu's broader strategy to position itself as a leader in artificial intelligence and IoT solutions. As more consumers embrace connected lifestyles, companies like Xiaomi and Baidu are working diligently to ensure their offerings remain competitive and relevant. The future of smart home technology looks promising, particularly when innovations like DuerOS continue to push boundaries and redefine how we interact with our surroundings.

Copper Core Braided Sleeve

Copper core Braided Sleeve is a type of protective covering that is made up of copper wires braided together. It is commonly used in various industries, including electronics, automotive, and aerospace, to provide shielding and protection for cables and wires.

The copper core in the braided sleeve helps to enhance conductivity and provide excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. It effectively prevents signal interference and minimizes the risk of data loss or corruption.

The braided construction of the sleeve offers flexibility and allows for easy installation and removal. It can be tightly wrapped around cables and wires, providing a secure and durable protective layer.

Copper core braided sleeves are also resistant to abrasion, chemicals, and heat. They can withstand high temperatures and are flame retardant, making them suitable for use in harsh environments.
