Diesel generator set voltage instability reasons:
1. The wiring of the wires is loose.
2. The control panel voltage-current selection switch is disabled.
3. Control panel voltage - adjust resistor failure.
4. The voltmeter fails and the voltage is unstable.
5. Poor voltage regulator or unregulated regulator.
6. It is possible that the vibration of the diesel generator set is too large during operation.
7. It may be that the speed of the engine is unstable and the voltage is unstable.
Generator output voltage instability solution:
1. Check the connection parts of the generator set and repair them.
2. The generator set replaces the switch.
3. Replace the voltage regulator resistor.
4. Change the voltmeter.
5. Check the regulator.
6. Check the shock absorbers of the generator set.
7. Adjust or replace the engine fuel system parts to stabilize the speed.
The genset voltage can also be adjusted by an automatic voltage regulator. The automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is one of the important components of the generator. Its function is to control the output voltage of the generator within the specified range. When the generator speed changes, the generator voltage is automatically controlled to be constant. It does not burn the appliance due to the high voltage when the generator speed is high, nor does it cause the appliance to malfunction due to low generator speed and insufficient voltage.
