SABIC launches LED color palette and composite materials that enhance LED life

[High-tech LED News] SABIC Innovative Plastics has launched its new Expression2011 palette, which provides a range of colorful resin colors and special effects for LED applications.

The new Expression2011 series demonstrates the versatility of different specifications of Lexan resin for enhanced LED lighting. Three neutral white (MinorVision, MidwayGauzy and MightyPure) colors of Lexan* Visualfx* resin provide three different levels of transparency and astigmatism. The creamy white color of LexanSLX resin further reduces the light transmission, which improves the softness of the appearance.

In addition, SABIC Innovative Plastics offers a range of specialty resins and composites that help improve LED performance and extend its useful life. The Extem* series of amorphous thermoplastic polyimide (TPI) and polyetherimide (PEI) resins have high temperature resistance up to 311 CTg and provide inherent flame retardancy, eliminating the need for halogen additives. LNP*Konduit* composites with excellent thermal conductivity conduct heat from the LEDs to the heat sink or ambient air. LNPStarflam* composites have halogen-free flame retardancy and insulation properties and can be formulated to meet electrical standards such as the IEC50595 glow wire test. LexanXHT transparent resins offer higher thermal properties than standard polycarbonates and are therefore suitable for many transparent lighting applications.

This Optical Splitter use Planer Light wave Circuit (PLC) technology for split ratio 2, 4, 8,16, 32 and 64. PLC Mini Tube Splitter refers to the port 0.9 mm slip-on fiber multi channel direct output with a compact design and easy to use. It can be installed directly in various boxes without special design space. Application for FTTX network, LAN/WAN or CATV network.
