The lighting electrical industry has been developing continuously, rapidly, stably and healthily for many years. In recent years, due to the impact of the global financial crisis, various industries have been affected to varying degrees, and the lighting industry has relatively little impact.
I. Industry status
The problem currently reflected is that in the first half of the year, due to the impact of the US subprime mortgage crisis, the growth rate of CFL exports to the United States has slowed down, and orders for some enterprises have decreased. Since the fourth quarter, the export of light source lamps has declined. In Europe and South America, orders have also been reduced due to exchange rate changes.
The overall growth rate of exports has slowed down.
From January to October, the export volume of the whole industry increased by 19.53% year-on-year. If the exchange rate changes were taken into consideration, the growth rate of exports decreased to a single digit compared with last year. For example, in terms of export volume, the products that declined compared with the same period of last year have incandescent lamps. %, HID lamp ã„‹ 20.83%, indoor lighting ã„‹ 58.73%, Christmas lights ã„‹ 21.51%. Compared with last year, there were fluorescent lamps, ballasts and outdoor lamps, which increased by 20.87%, 5.03% and 13.72% respectively.
Due to the sluggish real estate industry and the decline in trading volume in the domestic market, the market for lamps and lanterns is generally not prosperous, which has led to a decline in sales.
Reflected in the enterprise is mainly overcapacity, especially due to the rapid growth of CFL last year, many companies to expand production capacity, and some new companies to build factories and buy equipment.
Relatively speaking, small enterprises are affected a lot, large and medium-sized enterprises in the industry are relatively stable, with less impact, and the industry as a whole is still in normal operation.
Second, the government response measures in a timely manner
The central government was keenly aware that industrial enterprises were affected by the financial crisis and decisively adopted a series of macro-control measures.
Recently, the State Council organized nine major industries to formulate industrial revitalization plans. The planning period is 2009 and 2011. In addition, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology are collecting and successively approving renovation projects to actively promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.
The export policy has been adjusted to increase the export tax rebate rate for some export products. Involved in our industry, the lighting products have increased from 11% to 13%, and the light source products have increased from 13% to 14%.
Third, the expectation of future industry development
Due to the certain rigidity of the domestic and international markets for lighting products, it is expected that the domestic and international markets will gradually pick up in the second half of next year. It is still difficult in the first half of next year, and enterprises should be fully prepared for this.
Energy-saving and high efficiency is still the mainstream of lighting products development. Fluorescent lamps, metal halide lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps and supporting electronic ballasts and lamps are still the mainstream products, and incandescent lamps for general lighting will be phased out.
The research and development and mass localization of ceramic metal halide lamps will have a positive impact on the industry. LEDs will gradually enter the field of general lighting, and the application research of high-power white LEDs in the field of functional lighting will continue to advance in the next few years.
Next year, China Lighting Association will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The association will hold a 20th anniversary event, with the theme of review and outlook, and will discuss the future development strategy of the lighting industry.
