Seven batches of wire and cable products in Henan failed

Pursuant to the provisions of the "PRC Product Quality Law," "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Product Quality in Henan Province," and the "Administrative Measures on Product Quality Supervision and Spot Checking," Henan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision conducted provincial supervision over the quality of 14 products produced in Henan Province. Spot checks.

A total of 30 batches of soft PVC plastic products for wire and cable produced by 17 companies in 3 cities including Xinxiang, Zhengzhou and Luoyang were spot-checked.

The spot-check products are based on GB/T8815-2008 "National Standards for Flexible Polyvinyl Chloride for Wire and Cable". The appearance, tensile strength, tensile strain at break, heat distortion, and 200°C of soft PVC plastics for wire and cable Thermal stability time, volume resistivity at 20°C, volume resistivity at operating temperature, and heat aging properties were examined on nine major projects.

Spot checks found that 7 batches of products do not meet the standard requirements, involving hot deformation, the maximum rate of change in tensile strain at break, and heat aging mass loss.
