Shenzhen LED manufacturers have accounted for half of China’s investment
Shenzhen's new two new policies support the development of the semiconductor lighting industry, and propose the overall goals and near-term goals for the development of the LED industry. From 2009 onwards, the company will invest 100 million yuan (the same below) for the third consecutive year to support the LED industry. The subsidy is up to 10 million yuan.
The overall goal of Shenzhen LED industry development is to achieve breakthroughs in white light general illumination, large-size LED backlights, etc., and continue to maintain the leading position in LED packaging and Led Display, and cultivate and develop more than one enterprise with output value exceeding 10 billion yuan. With 2-3 enterprises with an output value of more than 5 billion yuan and more than 10 enterprises with an output value of more than 1 billion yuan, Shenzhen will build an important demonstration base for technological innovation in China's LED industry and an important LED product research and development production base.
The Shenzhen Municipal Government has officially released the Shenzhen LED Industry Development Plan (2009-2015), Shenzhen's measures to promote the development of the semiconductor lighting industry, and the implementation plan for promoting the demonstration project of high-efficiency and energy-saving semiconductor lighting (LED) products in Shenzhen, and proposed the LED industry. The short-term goal of development in 2010 is more than 28 billion yuan, and the medium- and long-term goal is to achieve an output value of more than 130 billion yuan by 2015.
In the development of LED applications, the implementation plan of the LED product demonstration project formulated by the Shenzhen Municipal Government proposes that the implementation of the demonstration project will comprehensively promote the upgrading and replacement of lighting products in Shenzhen roads, tunnels, subways, large public buildings, etc., to Shenzhen in 2015. The main road uses LED lighting.
Shenzhen's LED industry development is one of the seven bases of China's LED industry, and has formed a relatively complete industrial chain. At present, there are more than 700 companies engaged in the research, development, production and application of semiconductor lighting technology and products in Shenzhen. In half, the industry scale is nearly 15 billion yuan.
