New Qobuz Connect support for the Microchip JukeBlox platform
Microchip Technology Inc., the world's leading provider of integrated solutions for integrated microcontrollers, mixed-signal, analog devices and flash memory, announced the addition of Qobuz Connect connectivity to the Microchip JukeBlox® platform. With this joint solution, HD quality and true CD-quality audio can be directly transmitted to wireless speakers and AV receivers, providing users with a wonderful and enjoyable music listening experience.
As a feature of the Qobuz Connect, once the tracks are selected, the audio stream can be transferred directly from the Gobuz cloud server to the wireless speakers, rather than in a continuous manner from the phone, tablet and audio device. This allows the user's handheld device to be vacant for other uses while also preventing battery drain. Users can move freely across the entire Wi-Fi® network without disrupting audio playback due to loss of connectivity. This is the first time AndroidTM users have been able to enjoy high quality lossless audio streaming over the air. Qobuz users can easily control and play their favorite music on mobile phones, tablets and audio devices at the touch of a button. 
Qobuz is the first online music service provider to offer users access to all record companies (main record companies and independent record companies) and all music genres and all artists' works in Hi-Fi audio streaming. Currently in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland, Qobuz offers Hi-Fi services. The subscription service provided by Qobuz includes an unlimited amount of real CD quality (16-bit/44.1 kHz) streaming music service, and a true CD quality (16-bit/44.1 kHz) lossless download service covering over 24 million titles in the entire catalog. And high-definition (24-bit / 192 kHz) download service for over 25,000 albums.
