**UAV Flight Safety Operation Guidelines**
Flying a UAV safely is essential to ensure the well-being of both the operator and those around. Below are key safety guidelines that must be strictly followed:
1. The flight speed of multi-rotor aircraft (except for special cases) should not exceed 8 m/s.
2. Avoid flying at large angles or full rudder control, unless it's part of a new model test.
3. Always remove the propellers when calibrating the ESC to prevent serious injury.
4. Do not power on the UAV when not in use to avoid accidental activation from the remote controller.
5. When calibrating the remote control, remove the propellers or perform calibration without power.
6. In case of a crash, immediately cut off the power. If no special situation occurs, all power sources should be disconnected, and the UAV must not be powered again. GPS signals can be easily affected by metal objects or electronic devices.
7. Hold the remote controller with the throttle stick at the lowest position to prevent accidental startup.
8. Maintain a safe distance of at least 10 meters when carrying batteries.
9. After unlocking or before takeoff, pay close attention to the throttle and outer eight positions. Confirm the aircraft’s status and ensure the propellers are not rotating before cutting off the power.
10. Avoid applying power to the frequency. Once the frequency is successfully matched, check if the receiver indicator is correctly aligned. If the power and flight control share the same channel, remove the propellers to prevent other controllers from accidentally starting the UAV.
11. Inspect all flight data and the aircraft’s status carefully before takeoff.
12. Check the propeller installation direction, rotation direction, and mixing controls before each flight.
13. During automatic hovering takeoff, if the rudder position exceeds 50% within 5 seconds, and if the hover is lost for too long, the flight control system may miscalculate, leading to a sudden flip during takeoff.
14. Within the company’s airspace, flights are limited to a height of 100 meters and a radius of 500 meters. Actual flight height should not exceed 80 meters, and the flight radius must stay within 400 meters. Be aware of obstacles and follow the specified altitude, distance, and time limits when flying is prohibited.
15. When carrying valuable equipment, simulate the load using similar weight items first. Ensure the UAV is safe before loading. Adjust sensitivity and parameters based on actual weight.
16. If the UAV becomes out of control, switch to manual mode immediately. If manual operation isn’t possible, try to avoid any potential harm to people.
17. Flying in crowded areas or over cities without company approval is strictly prohibited.
18. If a battery is damaged, isolate it immediately to prevent spontaneous combustion.
