Shanghai Releases Local Standards for LED Technology Lighting Construction and Acceptance

Recently, the Shanghai local standard "Lighting construction and acceptance specification using LED technology Part 1: Construction specifications" and "LED lighting technology" led by the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center and the Shanghai Institute of Metrology and Measurement Technology led the drafting The Code for Construction and Acceptance of Part 2 of the Code: Acceptance Criteria is reviewed, approved and issued by the Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision.

The two standard numbers and names are:

dB31/T468.2-2009 "Guidelines for Construction and Acceptance of Lighting Projects Using LED Technology Part 2: Acceptance Specifications"

The extensive application of LED technology in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo has made the formulation of relevant standards more urgent. Under the guidance of the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center and the Shanghai Institute of Metrology and Testing Technology under the guidance of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, we have organized a number of colleges and universities and research institutes including Fudan University and Shanghai University. Experts carried out a large number of research and investigation work, and extensively listened to the opinions of many companies and renowned experts in the field of LED lighting and drafted the above standards.
