AT&T has recently launched a new Connectivity Suite aimed at emerging device developers, offering a range of advanced modules from leading manufacturers like Sierra Wireless, Telit Wireless Solutions, and ZTE. This kit is designed to simplify the development process and provide developers with cutting-edge tools to optimize performance on AT&T’s network.

Syrah Wireless Communications’ contribution to the suite includes the AirPrime SL8080 and SL8090 embedded wireless modules. These versatile components are suitable for both consumer and industrial applications. The SL8090 stands out as one of the smallest high-speed HSPA+ modules available, offering support for voice calls, wireless diversity, and GPS functionality, making it ideal for compact and power-efficient devices.

Telit’s HE910 module is another key component in the package, supporting EDGE, HSDPA, and HSPA+ networks, along with built-in GPS capabilities. This makes it a great choice for applications requiring reliable connectivity and location tracking. Meanwhile, ZTE’s Connectivity Kit features the MF206A and MF212 modules, which are optimized for low-power consumption and high integration—perfect for use in consumer electronics and industrial settings. Both modules support a wide range of network technologies, including EDGE, HSDPA, and GPS, ensuring broad compatibility and performance.

The AT&T Connectivity Kit also includes an AT&T SIM card, allowing developers to test data capacity and access the AT&T Control Center for network management.
