Global Top 100 Telecom Brands Exposure Nokia Falls to 11th

On June 2nd, according to foreign media reports, Brand Finance Plc is a UK brand value consulting firm that evaluates the value of mobile devices and wireless carriers worldwide. According to the company’s latest list of the world's top 100 telecommunications brands, Vodafone has been the world’s most valuable telecommunications company brand for the second year in a row, with an estimated brand value of US$30.67 billion.

AT&T, the second largest mobile operator in the United States, will become the second-ranked brand after acquiring T-Mobile USA. The estimated brand value is US$28.88 billion. Verizon ranked third wirelessly, with an estimated brand value of $27.29 billion.

There are also global mobile manufacturers in this list. Nokia’s brand value dropped from fourth place last year to eleventh. Apple, which did not perform valuations last year, ranked 15th, with a brand value of 6.93 billion U.S. dollars.

Four South Korean companies entered this ranking. Samsung Mobile ranked 23rd, with an estimated brand value of 5 billion U.S. dollars. South Korea’s largest mobile operator, SK Telecom, ranked 49th and estimated the brand value to be US$2.9 billion. South Korea’s largest fixed-line operator and the second-largest mobile operator, KT, ranked 5th with a brand value of US$2.4 billion. South Korea's smallest mobile operator LG Uplus ranked 89th, with a brand value of 906 million U.S. dollars.
